— a new album of percussion quartets from Clocks in Motion Percussion and exclusively featuring the work of UNLV music composition professor Jennifer Bellor — will be released August 19 on the Aerocade Music label. This album features all of the music that Bellor wrote for the quartet over the last four years as its resident "Clock Shop composer."
In addition, a music animation film that was produced for Bellor's composition will be released in early August. It is also titled Oneira.
Clocks in Motion was in residence at the UNLV School of Music for the March 2020 Nextet concert.
From the record label: "We think Oneira sounds like it could be a collaboration between Dave Brubeck, Enya, and Steve Reich. If they were in an alternate universe… inside a video game… on a different planet? What it really says is that Jennifer Bellor’s music is too big for one square genre!"
