UNLV's main library will be closed for three weeks in late December and early January as UNLV prepares for the opening of the new Lied Library.
The James R. Dickinson Library will close its doors at 6 p.m. Dec. 15. When the university's principal library operation opens again it will be on Jan. 8 in the new, 302,000-square-foot Lied Library.
During the closure, members of the public are encouraged to use the various county libraries for their research needs.
Though UNLV's library itself will be closed during the move, the library web site, will be available during that time.
After Jan. 7, information on library hours and services will be available at 895-2286.
