The campus organizations that govern fraternities and sororities at UNLV earlier this month won the InterFraternalism Award at a regional conference held in Santa Clara, Calif.
The award recognizing the joint efforts of UNLV's Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, and PanHellenic Council was presented during the Western Regional Greek Conference.
The honor is given to deserving campuses in recognition of their "ability and innovation in promoting the campus chapters to interact, to build relationships through programming and/or low-competition activities." Applications were reviewed for creative approaches, uniqueness, level of success, and level of participation.
