The Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) at UNLV will present its annual Economic Update conference June 20 at the M Resort Spa Casino.
Economist Stephen M. Miller, professor and director of CBER, will offer analysis of the local, regional and national economies and forecast what lies ahead for the rest of 2019. Tina Quigley, CEO of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, will discuss recent transportation innovations as part of an update on this key local sector. The event will be moderated by Bruce Spotleson from The Neon Museum

The event is open to the public. Registration is $110. The registration fee includes a copy of the CBER 2019 Midyear Economic Update and continental breakfast. Registration is available on the CBER website or by contacting Stephen Miller at 702-895-3191.

The Center for Business and Economic Research at UNLV, part of the Lee Business School, was established in 1975. Its mission is to conduct academic research that assists in the development of the Nevada economy, with special emphasis on the Southern Nevada business community.
