UNLV Film and the CFA Alumni Chapter, in cooperation with A24 Films, present a screening of Sing, Sing, a new feature film starring Colman Domingo that presents the dramatic story of incarcerated men restoring their lives through theatre at 7 p.m. on Oct. 18 in the FDH 109 Dolby-Atmos Theatre. The event is free and open to the public, but . A Q&A follows with the film's real-life inspiration, playwright and director Brent Buell, author of Breakin' the Mummy's Code. A reception precedes the event at 6 p.m.
Story
Divine G (Domingo), imprisoned at Sing Sing for a crime he didn’t commit, finds purpose by acting in a theatre group with other incarcerated men.
