The department of art is a department like no other. With 80 full-time and part-time staff and faculty, 670 students majoring in our academic programs, and over 2,000 full seats in courses this fall, the department is having an impact. The faculty, students, and alumni are incredible. Alumni develop meaningful professional relationships with faculty and peers at UNLV. These relationships open doors that lead to employment and impressive career trajectories in art, art history, education, design, and related fields. On a campus with the most diverse undergraduate student population in the U.S., we are especially proud that the programming presents and exhibits extraordinary perspectives from traditionally under-represented communities in art and design.
There are always surprises in the department of art. To stay up-to-date please follow the department on and @unlvtheear on . Also, please .
