The UNLV School of Music University Chorale invites all faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the UNLV community to sing this semester. This mixed choir (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) performs on campus and in the community. Repertoire includes "classical" choral music of all styles, as well as folk tunes, spirituals, and musical theater highlights. Attendance at all rehearsals and performances is expected. A complete performance schedule will be available at the beginning of the semester; there are usually two performances each semester.
Rehearsals: Monday and Wednesday each week, from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.
Location: Alta Ham Fine Arts, Room 147
Instructors: Professors Joe Svendsen and David Weiller, co-directors of choral studies.
