High school students interested in learning about the physics and astronomy education opportunities available at UNLV are invited to attend an open house on Feb. 3.
The free event also is open to the parents of high school students and to high school teachers. It will take place from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Bigelow Physics Building. A pizza lunch will be included.
Those interested in attending the open house are asked to RSVP to the physics department at 895-3563.
The open house is designed to let students know about the physics and astronomy program at UNLV. Participants will have a chance to observe demonstrations conducted by professors and students and to ask questions about UNLV's offerings.
For additional information on the open house, call the physics department at 895-3563.
