The UNLV department of psychology is seeking local residents between the ages of 65 and 85 to participate in two new research studies being conducted by the cognition in aging research group.
The first study involves reading and listening to various quantities of information and completing a series of cognitive tasks. The study is open to all individuals with good hearing and corrected-to-normal vision.
The second study is open to bilingual individuals with good hearing and corrected-to-normal vision, and involves reading and listening to health-related information and completing a series of memory and cognitive tasks.
No medication or invasive procedures will be involved in either study. Sessions will last approximately two hours and participants will receive a stipend for their participation and travel to UNLV.
