The UNLV Performing Arts Center welcomes UNLV School of Music faculty in "Hungarian Masterworks" as part of its Chamber Music Series at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, in the Doc Rando Recital Hall of the Beam Music Center. Hungarian favorites by Franz Liszt, Béla Bartok, György Ligeti, Johannes Brahms, and others will be performed by Stephen Caplan, oboe; Marina Sturm, clarinet; Janis McKay, bassoon; Bill Bernatis, horn; Weiwei Le, violin; Andrew Smith, cello; Linda Lister, soprano; Mykola Suk, piano; Timothy Hoft, piano; and Christina Wright-Ivanova, piano.

Tickets to Hungarian Masterworks are $25, and can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center Box Office at 895-ARTS (2787) or on the . Student rush tickets are $13 each (not inclusive of the facilities fee) and available one hour prior to each event based on availability and with valid student ID. UNLV faculty and staff discounts also are available.
A $1.50 facilities fee, in addition to the ticket price, is charged on all Performing Arts Center tickets.
The box office is open from 10 a.m - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.

The UNLV Performing Arts Center is Southern Nevada's first home for the arts: it opened in 1976 and celebrates its 41st season this year. It hosts a variety of performances and events and is home to productions presented by the Nevada Conservatory Theatre, UNLV School of Music, UNLV Dance, Desert Chorale, and the Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society. The UNLV PAC also is pleased to host various Clark County School District fine arts festivals and concerts.
