The UNLV College of Business Alumni Association will proudly present "Lunch with Author Jack Sheehan," on Nov. 10, beginning at 11:30 a.m., in the UNLV Foundations Building on campus.
Sheehan, a former English teacher and 30-year Las Vegas resident, has written nine books, including "The Players: The Men who Made Las Vegas," "Above Las Vegas," and "Buried Lies: True Tales and Tall Stories from the PGA Tour." He has also written three Hollywood screenplays, and won the Lowell Thomas Award for best travel article in the United States for his essay, "The Loneliest Road in America." His latest book, " Skin City: Uncovering the Las Vegas Sex Industry," is in the process of being developed into a documentary.
The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a short speech and an opportunity for guests to meet the author. Lunch will begin at noon and the event will conclude with a book signing at 1 p.m.
