WHO: UNLV's Department of Environmental Studies will host more than 700 elementary students from the Clark County School District during its annual Earth Day celebration.

DETAILS: The Earth Day event is free and open to the public and will include environmental education exhibits from various local organizations, including the Environmental Protection Agency, Southern Nevada Water Authority, Nevada Power, Electric Car Association and Clark County. The Water Authority's "Deputy Drip" will also be on hand to celebrate the occasion.
An awards ceremony honoring outstanding individual contributions to environmental efforts will begin at 11 a.m.
