WHAT: An interagency panel of local law enforcement experts will discuss current efforts in place to prevent and respond to a potential terrorist threat in Southern Nevada as part of a UNLV security forum

On-site ARMOR unit demonstration at approximately 5:30 p.m.
WHERE: Cox Pavilion at UNLV
DETAILS: The event is free and open to the public and will include an on-site demonstration of the vehicles used by Homeland Security Bureau's All-hazard Regional Multi-Agency Operational Response (ARMOR) unit. Sheriff Doug Gillespie of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) and Dr. Dale Carrison, chairman of the Nevada Commission on Homeland Security, will offer opening remarks. Forum panelists include:
