"The Jewish Experience in American Politics" is the topic of the final lecture of the Spring 2003 University Forum Lecture Series at UNLV. The lecture will be held on May 5.
Using national election studies and materials from government agencies, Lee Bernick, chair of the department of public administration at UNLV, will explore the role that American Jews play in American politics and discuss the possible religious and cultural basis for their positions on the issues.
The lecture will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Natural History. All University Forum lectures are free and open to the public.
The University Forum lecture series is sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and is underwritten by The Jerry Kalafatis Lodge Charitable Foundation and the UNLV Foundation.
