Tickets are now available for the inaugural UNLV Wine Affair - a unique tasting event designed expressly for wine aficionados and foodies. Guests will have the opportunity to taste elite vintages from some of the world's most famous wineries while sampling perfectly-paired cuisine prepared by chefs from the restaurants at Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa.
Unlike other tastings, the UNLV Wine Affair will showcase a selection of wines rarely offered together at a single event and includes a food and wine education component. Guests will be able to learn about their favorite wine from participating winery representatives, take a guided tour through the Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa vineyards or learn about "breathable stemware" and wine decanting from a DeLuca Liquor & Wine expert. The esteemed chefs from Hank's and TerraVerde at Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa will also discuss with guests the evening's featured cuisine. Hand rolled cigars, a "Wine Affair" cocktail, cognac, port, and desserts and coffee will also be available.
Proceeds from the event and auction will benefit a student scholarship fund and academic activities at UNLV's College of Hotel Administration. The UNLV Wine Affair is being sponsored by DeLuca Liquor & Wine Ltd., Green Valley Ranch Resort and UNLV.
