WHAT: The College Board, a not-for-profit membership association comprised of schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions, will seek recommendations on ways to improve federal financial aid accessibility from local students, educators, researchers and policymakers in a town hall meeting. Scheduled panelists include: David B. Ashley, UNLV President; Norm Bedford, UNLV Director of Financial Aid; Adam Cronis UNLV Student Body President; Sandy Baum, senior policy analyst for The College Board and economics professor at Skidmore College; David A. Longanecker, president of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education; Jane Nichols, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of the Nevada System of Higher Education; Arthur Byrd, Vice President for Student Affairs of the College of Southern Nevada; Brian C. Myli; Clark County School District counselor specialist, Tony F. Sanchez III, senior vice president of NV Energy.
