Presentations on the theme of "building unity within the community" will be made to students in UNLV's fraternities and sororities on Feb. 27 as a part of Greek Leadership Day on campus.
A workshop titled "A Campus of Difference" will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon, and later that day, a keynote address will be followed by several breakout sessions. Some 200 UNLV students are expected to participate in the day's events.
The workshop, which is being funded in part by a $1,000 grant from the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity Foundation, will be led by the Anti-Defamation League and is being cosponsored by Campus Community Development, UNLV's Office of Greek Life, and the Order of Omega, a Greek leadership honorary organization.
Also a part of Greek Leadership Day will be a community service agency fair, at which approximately 20 Southern Nevada organizations will be represented.
