R. Darin Hollingsworth has been hired as the director of development for UNLV's College of Business.
In that job he will serve as the chief fundraiser for the college.
Hollingsworth, who most recently worked as associate director of development at Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, comes to UNLV with a number of years of experience in both development and in higher education.
"We are delighted that Darin has joined the development team for UNLV and the College of Business," said Richard Flaherty, dean of the College of Business. "His background with a major urban university, his fundraising experience, and his enthusiasm significantly enhance the potential for private support of College of Business initiatives."
Hollingsworth's work experience includes serving as a development officer at Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation.
After graduating from the University of Memphis with a degree in business administration, he worked for the university as a student relations counselor and admissions representative.
