Movement, a cornerstone of the arts, is the focus of this year’s UNLV College of Fine Arts Research Week event at the Barrick Museum of Art. Faculty will share information about the distinctive ways that movement influences the performing arts and the creative process from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14.
Working with the exhibition by Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya, the neuroscientist-turned-artist behind the Barrick’s fall exhibition "Connective Tissue," these smart, provocative faculty presentations and performances will address questions about the developments they see, and possible ramifications for the future.
This event is free. Everyone is welcome. Parking is open after 7 p.m. Bring inquiring minds and questions.
