UNLV alumnus and Food Network celebrity chef Guy Fieri will prepare some of his signature dishes for the next Chef Artist Dinner Series on October 16 at UNLV's Stan Fulton Building. The gourmet event will begin with a reception of hors d'oeuvres, wine, and entertainment, followed by a three course dinner planned and prepared by Fieri. Each course will be paired with an appropriate wine selection provided by Deluca Liquor and Wine. The menu is as follows:
Hors d'oeuvres:
Lamb Loin Chops with Mint Pesto
Bacon Wrapped Prawns with Chipotle BBQ Sauce
Long Beach Coleslaw
Starter:
Johnny Garlic Cedar Plank Salmon with Jicama Slaw

Cornish Hen with Coconut Rice and Roasted Cauliflower

The Chef Artist Dinner Series is held each semester and is sponsored by the UNLV William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration and Bon Appetit Magazine. Proceeds from the event benefit the students, faculty, and facilities of UNLV's Food and Beverage Department.
