UNLV's Nevada Small Business Development Center is presenting a seminar March 3 on how businesses can comply most effectively with Environmental Protection Agency and state regulations on hazardous waste.
Offered through the NSBDC Business Environmental Program, this free seminar is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon at the Tropicana Hotel's Island Tower.
During the seminar, participants will learn how to reduce hazardous waste generation expense, increase workplace safety, and make their businesses more profitable. Other seminar topics will include requirements for reporting and record-keeping of waste management, minimizing waste to reduce liability, and environmental and disposal regulations.
Though the seminar is free, registration is required. Seating is limited.
