The Arnold Shaw Popular Music Research Center and the Las Vegas Jazz Society will host a reception and concert featuring the jazz art of Ray Figueredo, the jazz photography of Gordon Banz, and the music of the Joe Lano Duo at 7 p.m. Feb. 1. The event will be held in the Beam Music Center lobby and Doc Rando Recital Hall on the UNLV campus.
The artist reception is free and open to the public. Admission to the jazz concert, which will begin at approximately 8:15 p.m., is $5 for Jazz Society members and $7 for non-members. The John Geever Quartet will provide music during the reception.
