The distinguished Ambassador of Argentina to the United States, Dr. Jose Octavio Bordon, will present a free public lecture at UNLV on Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Natural History.
During his lecture, titled "Argentina's Political and Economic Outlook: State of Nevada and Argentine Trade, Business, and Investment Opportunities," Bordon will address past, present and future micro- and macro- economic issues, as well as explore the political landscape of Argentina and the United States - with special focus on developing relationships with the state of Nevada.
A former fellow of the Woodrow Wilson Center, an Eisenhower Fellow, and visiting Professor at Georgetown University, Bordon is also President of the Andes Foundation and is a leading expert on the politics and economies of Latin America.
