UNLV has opened more than 100 class sections so that students who were unable to register for certain sections due to full enrollment may now be able to get the courses they want.
UNLV officials recently announced that they had expanded class offerings for this fall and that enrollment limits have been increased for an additional 110 sections.
"We're always glad when we can meet increased demand and provide students with more academic opportunities," said Barbara Cloud, associate provost for academic affairs. "We encourage every student who had trouble getting into the classes they wanted earlier this summer to try again."
All students are advised to double check the class schedule on the web before the semester begins because the dates, times, and locations of some courses have changed.
