President Len Jessup shared three simple tips to guide students to the many resources on campus this fall. Here's where to find more information on the resources he mentioned:
1. Get Involved
Through clubs, diversity programs, service activities, and much more, the Student Engagement & Diversity office will connect you to fellow Rebels, the campus, and our community. It's located on the third floor of the student Union.
2. Ask for Help
Don't know where to begin? Try The Intersection, UNLV's comprehensive multicultural center. The center helps students, particularly first-generation and students of color, successfully navigate their academic careers. Conveniently located on the first floor of the Student Union, The Intersection is your place to connect to the right people, information, and services from across campus.
Daunted by choosing a major? The helps students plan their path to graduation through tutoring, advising, coaching, and other support services. It's located on Alumni Walk across from the Student Services Complex.
3. Celebrate!
UNLV has come a long way in our 60 years — from a dusty outpost on the edge of town to a thriving urban research institution. Join the dozens of events we've lined up to celebrate our innovative frontier spirit. Share your own experiences all year long in social media with #UNLV60.
