Ying Guo, Antony Chen (both Environmental and Occupational Health) and Timothy Grigsby (Social and Behavioral Health) will receive seed funding of $5,000 toward their research efforts, as recipients of the UNR-UNLV Public Health Collaboration Initiative.

Yoon-Bae Jun from UNR and Antony Chen from UNLV for their proposal, “A spatial-temporal evaluation of emerging climate risk factors on COVID-19 outcomes in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada.”
Stephanie Koning from UNR and Timothy Grigsby from UNLV for their proposal, “Cannabis use as a coping mechanism during pregnancy: Identifying links with social environment and maternal health outcomes using the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS).”
