Vikki Baltimore-Dale (Dance) was invited to deliver a TEDx talk and present choreography in Carson City. Her talk was two-fold. The first segment was a historical summary of the civil rights movement in the late '60s, early '70s with the focus placed on civil rights icon Angela Davis, the inspiration for Dale's choreographic work. The second segment was the dance, "Angela Davis Speaks...Past?....Present?...," performed by three UNLV BFA students, Nicole Boone, Alexis Hansbrough, and Ari Williams.
