UNLV has received two from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). The honors are given each year to superior fundraising programs at educational institutions across the country.
UNLV is one of six public universities nationwide with endowments of less than $350 million to be honored for overall performance and overall improvement.
The award was based on the judges’ analysis of three years of UNLV’s fundraising data submitted to the annual Voluntary Support of Education survey. Judges select winners based on many factors, including the pattern of growth in total support, the impact of the 12 largest gifts on total support, and total support in relation to the alumni base.
According to CASE, UNLV has demonstrated “significant program growth” and is a “mature, well-maintained program.”
UNLV is among 90 colleges, universities, and independent schools receiving this year’s Educational Fundraising Awards. The awards program has recognized exceptional development programs annually since 1959.
