Susan Wainscott (Libraries) has been a key partner in a year-long, federally funded, multidisciplinary review conducted by the UNLV College of Engineering faculty of available literature and data on renewable energy and water resource projects in central Africa. She trained the research team in search strategies, assisted with hard-to-locate sources in several languages, coordinated responses of other UNLV librarians, and contributed her scientific expertise to the report with a review of the current state of knowledge about the potential spread of viruses in runoff and wastewaters.
