Over the weekend of March 11-12, Susan Lee Johnson (History) gave lectures about the book Writing Kit Carson: Fallen Heroes in a Changing West for the Tesoro Cultural Center's Historic Lectures Series. The Tesoro Cultural Center is a non-profit affiliated with The Fort Restaurant near Denver, and lecturers speak both at The Fort and at community centers in the South Suburban Parks and Recreation District.
