Su Kim Chung (Libraries) was awarded a 2024 Historic Preservation Award for Preservation Education by the City of Las Vegas Historic Preservation Commission. Chung received the award for her more than two decades of work at the forefront of preserving the history of Las Vegas. She was commended in particular for her efforts preserving the city's entertainment history, collecting oral histories, conducting community presentations, assisting researchers from around the globe, and authoring the popular coffee table book, "Las Vegas: Then and Now."
