Shashi Nambisan, Juliana Byzyka, Khandaker Arafin Islam (Transportation Research Center), and Shreya Chindepalli (University of Texas at Arlington) published "" in 2024 Forum of Innovative Sustainable Transportation Systems (FISTS) by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The paper provides insight into the state of electric vehicles (EV) and EV charging infrastructure in Nevada compared to those for conventional internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEVs). The results show unequal charging accessibility across the state of Nevada and reveal an urban-rural divide in EV adoption and charging infrastructure. The findings of the study can help to support decision-making for policy, regulatory, and operational options to develop EV charging infrastructure in Nevada.
