Sandra Shackelford (Risk Management) received the annual Historic Preservation Award from the city of Las Vegas for her contribution of countless volunteer hours spent sewing the drapes and curtains for the historic ranch house (now the visitors center) at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs. This was her second award from the city. She previously was given the Citizen of the Month Award. Both were presented to her by the Mayor Carolyn Goodman and Councilman Steve Ross.
