Rian Satterwhite (Service Learning & Leadership) edited a special issue of the journal . Satterwhite, alongside Kate Sheridan (Chatham University) and Whitney McIntyre Miller (Chapman University), authored an editorial and an article in the issue: "Introduction to leadership for complex problems and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals," and "Centering intersectional sustainability in leadership education: A case for the Sustainable Development Goals."
The special issue explores the use of the UN Sustainable Development Goals as an effective framework for leadership development in undergraduate and graduate education settings as well as their use in numerous other contexts such as business education, peace studies, experiential learning pedagogy/andragogy, pharmacology, the work towards gender equity, indigenous leadership practice, and in democratic and civic engagement.
