Renato "Rainier" M. Liboro (Psychology) and co-authors Paul A. Shuper (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Canada) and Lori E. Ross (University of Toronto) recently published an article, in SAGE Open journal. The article discusses findings from their community-based participatory research study that examined the awareness and knowledge of people living with HIV and their service providers on neurocognitive challenges related to HIV/AIDS. The article argues for the use of established principles and strategies, and social media and new platforms, for raising awareness and levels of knowledge on HIV-associated neurocognitive issues in relevant communities.
