E. Michael Nussbaum (Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education) was elected a fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA), effective Jan. 1, 2022. He is a former president of APA Division 15 (Educational Psychology). His research focuses on the use of argumentation in education, classroom discourse, and critical thinking, and his APA leadership initiative emphasized the application of educational psychology research through the publication and dissemination of policy and practice briefs by the division.
