Maurice Finocchiaro (Philosophy) had one of his essays translated into French and published in the current issue of . This is a Belgian journal published at the Université de Namur by the Société Scientifique de Bruxelles. Originally titled “The Trial of Galileo: Facts and Issues, Then and Now,” the French title of the article is “Le procès de Galilée: Faits et enjeux, à l’époque et aujourd’hui.” This is the first time that one of Finocchiaro’s writings has been translated into French. However, previously, several of them (on various topics) have been translated and published in seven other languages: Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, Polish, Japanese, and Korean.
