Kyle Ethelbah (Academic Enrichment and Outreach) presented with Sari Byerly (Idaho State University) and Erick Montenegro (PELL Institute for the Study of Higher Education) the session, "I Belong at the Table: Strategies for Surviving and Overcoming Imposter Syndrome," at the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) National Conference in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 11, 2023. The session sought to create a space for validation, advice, and strength for professionals working with low-income and first-generation students through the review of “imposter syndrome," exploring root causes, substantial impacts, and practical solutions that professionals can implement to empower themselves, their colleagues, and their students.
