Dr. Kavita Batra (Medicine) recently published a study titled in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry. This study involved researchers from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and results indicated that the therapy is effective and safe for drug resistant epilepsy. Batra is a statistician to the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV and published several meta-analyses in the past.
