Kara Christensen (Psychology) and colleagues at the University of Kansas, led by Kelsie Forbush, recently published an article, "," in the International Journal of Eating Disorders that compares different models for understanding eating disorder psychopathology.
The study found that using latent variable modeling within a network framework may be the best fitting approach for understanding eating disorder symptoms. These findings may have implications for identifying treatment targets for these serious mental illnesses.
