Jenna Weglarz-Ward, Nicole Atwell, Jessica Ain, Kendra Antill, and Melissa Beck Yarczower (all Early Childhood, Multilingual, and Special Education) presented their research at the Conference for Research Innovations in Early Intervention. Weglarz-Ward presented with Kimberly Hile from the University of Alabama in Huntsville on use of photo elicitation interviewing to examine family experiences during COVID. She also presented the findings of a content analysis of family practices in special educator licensure across the U.S. with Yarczower, Maryssa Mitsch of San Francisco State University, and Jessica Branch of Murray State University. Atwell presented findings from an intervention to support pediatricians' knowledge of early intervention. Antill presented approaches to social validity in single subject design. Ain presented on virtual interventions to address social skills in young children with disabilities. Ain, Antill, and Yarczower all are doctoral students.
