Dr. Linh Nguyen and Dr. Jeffrey Ebersole (both Dental), along with dental school alumni Dr. James Chon (‘21), Dr. Eunbee Kim (‘22) and Dr. Jennifer Cheng (‘22), co-authored “Biological Aging and Periodontal Disease: Analysis of NHANES (2001-2002),” which published in JDR Clinical and Translational Research. The study aimed to test whether periodontal disease affects biological aging across the life span.
