James Louis-Jean (Chemistry) recently was awarded first place in - Materials and Recovery Section sponsored by the Department of Energy's office of nuclear energy. His winning paper, was published in Inorganica Chimica Acta in 2019 and will be presented at the Innovations Awards session of the ANS winter meeting in Chicago in November. A radiochemistry Ph.D. student, Louis-Jean is advised by chemistry professor Frederic Poineau.
