Dr. Jacqueline Killian, retired United States Air Force colonel (Nursing) with Dr. Penny Pierce, retired United States Air Force Reserves colonel and emeritus professor, University of Michigan, recently delivered the plenary session titled, "Service Beyond the Uniform: Prepare Now for What's Next" at the 2024 TriService Nursing Research Program's Annual Research and Evidence-Based Practice Dissemination Course. Killian also moderated the Career Development panel featuring Dr. Linda Yoder from the University of Texas, Austin; Dr. Elizabeth Bridges, University of Washington; Dr. Kimberly Hopkins; and Dr. Ann Ketz, who shared their stories of the career development opportunities they experienced while serving in uniform and the careers they transitioned to following military retirement.
