Ivan Sandoval-Cervantes (Anthropology) presented his work on multispecies ethnography as part of a panel that brought together Mexican artists and academics. The panel, "Animal Politics: Sketches of a Non-Human Theater," included a short documentary as well as three presentations that discussed the relationship between non-human animals, voice, violence, and representation. This event was part of the Escala 2020 virtual conference organized by the Mexico's Ministry of Culture and the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature held from earlier this month.
