Federick Ngo and Juanita Hinojosa (both Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education) published a study on the impact of expanding state financial aid resources to undocumented community college students. Titled the study shows that continuing undocumented community college students not only increased their enrollment intensity after state financial aid became available, but also shifted their course-taking away from vocational courses and towards degree/transfer-oriented pathways. The article appears in AERA Open and is included in the special topic collection "Immigration & Education." The publication fees for the article were supported by the UNLV University Libraries Open Article Fund.
