Titled "The Effect of Developmental Math on STEM Participation in Community College: Variation by Race, Gender, Achievement, and Aspiration," the study examines how developmental math placement impacts the enrollment in and completion of STEM courses among women, racially minoritized students, students with extensive STEM preparation in high school, and students with expressed STEM interest.
