Emily Budd (Art) has published a creative essay titled, “Cruising the Monuments of the Outskirts of Las Vegas,” for the ecoartspace publication, . Budd’s essay reimagines Robert Smithson’s seminal work, “A Tour of the Monuments of Passaic, New Jersey,” to explore the possibilities of Queer Renewal among a set of environmental ruins rising around Las Vegas.
