The UNLV Downtown Design Center architecture studio led by Ken McCown (Architecture) and Carly Mossman set up a near the Regional Justice Center as part of an international initiative called . There they solicited input from a broad spectrum of people on a proposal for a town square in downtown Las Vegas. They used recycled materials to create a comfortable installation for sitting in the makeshift park. Recycled cardboard was parametrically designed to make cushions on milk crates. Palettes provided a clean seating surface. The installation was movable. All parts could change configuration, and throughout the day different arrangements were used.
