Daniel Orr () earned the 2016 Alumnus of the Year recognition for the College of Life Sciences at Brigham Young University. Each year, the university honors outstanding alumni from each college who have made significant contributions to their profession, community, nation, family, church, or university. Prior to the recognition ceremony, Dr. Orr gave a presentation titled “” during the university’s Alumni Achievement Lecture.
